Phuket itinerary Day ❷

Here's our SECOND DAY. So we wake up early in the morning to have our breakfast at the hotel before started our itinerary during the second day.  Actually I'd insomnia the last night and don't have enough rest. Plus I'm not feeling that well and the second day is a total tormenting day for me... I had pills to relief my symptoms of motion sickness, that's how I went through my whole Phuket trip. OH GOD PLEASE HELP ME...

We had our breakfast by the pool. Overall the food provided aren't tasty...

So our first destination is JAMES BOND ISLAND lol... I wonder why the name is called that way but it is also one of the attractions in Phuket. We arrived at a kinda remoted area and put on our life jackets. After that we set off to James Bond Island by a speedboat. FYI, our speedboat is just made of planks but it still managed to carry weights! I was anticipating how the so-called James Bond Island will look like and started have images roving over my head lolll... BTW we set off to the island by passing through mangrove areas instead of speeding on the sea. We also saw many jagged rocks along the wide river overlooking the beauty of nature.

Passing through some villages on the way to James Bond Island.

Our tour guide, Mr Phiak.
*I really liked his name it's super cute...

Finally we disembarked and we're in James Bond Island.
The water is clear with zero litters making the island a perfect attraction for tourists all over the world.

Jagged rocks and lush greenery creates a picturesque view of James Bond Island.

Anyway we just took photos here without any water activities
cuz it is arranged to the next day at another island.

Before we embarked our moored boat, one more take!

Canoe-ing is also available in James Bond Island.

This is the souvenir we bought!

Our upcoming destination after the island is the GEM GALLERY. Gem is well-known is Thailand and somehow originated here. We get to know many information and knowledge regarding how gem are processed and how they originated from. Gem are valuable and precious and signify love as what I just learnt there lollll...

Behind us is the large aquarium with various sea creatures before we go to visit the Gem Gallery.

So this is the Gem Gallery that you procured all information just in this single ride.
Here's a train that you just settle yourself in and there's a speaker right within earshot where you can listen to all information throughout the ride.

The Gem Gallery

I just managed to capture this image since the interior is dark. THIS IS THE PEARL!
There's five sections overall where you are brought to section by section
by the train to look at the gem processing procedures.
*Don't worry the explanations are in Chinese, not Thai lolll...

After the ride we were lead to the section where all people were busy with gem processing. There were several tables and the workers were submerged in immense attentiveness to produce gem of several designs and shapes. The tables were also divided into parts where different workers deal with different tasks.

This is the final products! They are pretty right?

Presentation of a few stones and crystals.

Finally we were here in the exhibition of gem stones that were graded accordingly. You can purchased any gem stone that you fancy and bring them back home!
Nevertheless they are pricey...
In the matter-of-fact we were not allowed to snap photos here, maybe they were worry that we copied their gem stone designs.
But I insisted to sneak a shot when the workers around aren't attentive.
*But I was warned by one of them too at last...

OMG I love BLUE! Here were the sapphires embellished with tiny diamonds that make them looked so elegant and glamorous. I was enraptured by its beauty and wished that I could have one and put them on. They were glittering so brightly under the light, I couldn't resist myself anymore OH NO!

The overlook of the whole Phuket city! SUCH A BREATHTAKING VIEW!

We also had a chance to visit the CASHEW NUT FACTORY and the HONEY FACTORY. We didn't took any photos anyway. However, the CASHEW NUT FACTORY is worth visiting and you can get to know the way of processing cashew nuts. FYI, cashew nuts are the main third income of Phuket which the people here were proud of.

There were various flavors of cashew nuts available and packed in tempting packages. You can test the cashew nuts before purchasing them and I was startled by the variety of cashew nuts flavors which comprised of tomyam, BBQ, honey, sesame, wasabi and many more. You just got to explore yourself since I can't illustrate them well just here... I love BBQ the most! Y

We bought a lot of cashew nuts of different flavors and bring them back home! Cashew nuts are the local specialties that you must buy if you come to Phuket.

About the HONEY FACTORY, we were gathered in a room and listen intently to the spokesperson who is responsible to recommend the honey products available. He told us that all honey were 100% pure and can relief a few illness. Owh wow, is that so miracle? I was doubting... lolol... We neither bought any products from the Honey factory since it's expensive but we snatched a chance to try all the products there. I swigged a cup of honey vinegar. Gosh it's sour but nice! Honey massage balms can also be found here, they have different scents and possessed medical indications.

It's late evening and we were here in the PHUKET TEMPLE. Of course what we never forgot to do is pray in the temple! The incense were provided free and there were many tourists that came to pray. Amazingly there were European foreigners too!

I placed my incense here...

Lotus flowers were also provided where you can put them in a large vase.

Night almost fall so our tour guide brought us here to watch the SUNSET VIEW. The breeze here was extremely strong that make you kinda freezing.

Agh ignore MY HIDEOUS LOOKS.. lolol...

So, that's the overall for Day 2. After dinner we head back to our hotel to have rest and I miss to lie down on bed because I'm feeling so not well.. GOD...
P/s: Do stay tune for my next entry for the last day we had our activities in Phuket.
