Melaka, the historical city

It’d been a long while since I had a trip to somewhere else. Our next destination might be Melaka. I’d been there for a couple of times since my cousins lived there. But, this was the first time my bf and I had a visit to Melaka.

We set off by bus and reached there approximately around 1 hour, then boarded a bus to the centre of Melaka. Our first glimpse was Christ Church, A Famosa Fort and the Stadhuys. Wow, they were majestic! We just squinted through these buildings since we were quite familiar already. Then we strolled down the city towards some other unique places such as Menara Taming Sari, Flora de la Mar Maritime Museum and Queen Victoria’s Fountain. But not to forget, of course, taking photos!

Furthermore, we also clambered the stairs to reach the top of St. Paul’s Hill. It was full of ancient huge rocks and writings, historically recorded the documentaries a thousand decades ago.

But the sun was blazing fiercely in the sky, which made us perspired a lot. We had preferred to wander around the malls. Besides, we also watched a movie. Oops, we also took a photo at Dataran Pahlawan Melaka. It was so natural and covered with lush greenery grass, where there were many people sat down and rest.

Ugh, and the most important thing to mention, we walked in Nadeje and tried it utmost delicious mille crepe (known as layered cake). This is the most famous mille crepe outlet available in Malaysia, should have a try if u were here. We ordered three pieces of cakes and talking craps throughout. I might said that these cakes were extremely delectable.

Night falls, we got to savor the chicken rice balls in the stalls nearby. In the matter-of-fact, chicken rice balls is the most famous food in Melaka, so it is a must try! In addition we also had dim sum as supper, but I had to say that they weren't delicious at all.

Next day when everything was ready, we got to our feet and started walking to Jonker Street.  There were many shops around and once again we had chicken rice balls as breakfast. We’d bought some local food back home too. The street is lined with souvenir shops and also traditional restaurants, food and drinks can also be found here which were worth trying included laksa, cendol and of course durian puffs!

The durian puffs were superb! You may need to insert the whole puff in your mouth, and the cream will oozed out in a jiffy. It was really very delicious and each of us satisfied our stomach with 3 durian puffs. =)

 Here we were at Nadeje!

This doesn't tasted like mille crepe anyway, instead I think it's just a normal cake =)
p/s: but still delectable!

Savouring the most delicious durian puffs ever!

This is a memorable trip and we were indulged in utmost happiness.

**Melaka was great with its historical buildings, if anyone do fond of ancient stories or histories, do pay a visit to Melaka
