First day in Zhong Wan (中环), Lan Kwai Fong (兰桂坊) and Mong Kok (旺角)

The feelings after exam were hard to express, cuz we're going for a vacation to HONG KONG ✈! As usual we followed our plan to exchange for Hong Kong currency at Sungai Wang, then we headed back home and packed our luggage to prepare everything ready. The first time ever experience is that we were going to overnight at LCCT since our boarding time was at 6.25am in the morning, so we reached there around evening cuz there were no transport late at night. In fact what astonished me was that there were many people overnight there too! Most of them lied down dead on the ground and fell into deep sleep, but of course that will not be me. I tried to sleep in Starbucks but I couldn't fell asleep and we stayed awake the whole night long until 4am to check in our baggage, sigh... We kept our eyes locked on our watches to make sure we didn't missed the boarding time and we rushed into our plane at 6 o'clock sharp.

Right now we planned to overnight in Starbucks.

After 4 hours sitting in plane we finally reached Hong Kong international airport! *Of course I get my motion sickness pills ready and slept throughout the flight teehee.* We met our tour guide and one thing to mention here, they aren't as friendly as Malaysians, bet you'll regret when u talk to them cuz they were so impolite omg. Next we checked in our hotel, Newton Place Hotel located at suburban area. There's no activities during our first day so I called my friend, Huah for meet up.

Here's our OOTDs after preening ourselves and getting ready to meet up with Huah!

Such a long time never see her and she's still lanky. She brought us to Zhong Wan (中环) by MRT, which is one of the busiest city in Hong Kong. It is such a crowded place with people in every corners and you could hardly gasp a breath.*Not forget to mention one discovery while we boarded MRT, the elevators in HK are speedy and you might not get used to it lolol.* We had our lunch at Tim Ho Wan (添好运) since it is famous for its dim sum. Yeah, there's a long queue and we waited for 45 minutes. The most impressive dim sum is the char siew pau with sugar coat, which is a must try!

Zhong Wan (中环) is a shopping paradise with many outlets and kioks lining the hustle streets. Btw, the cost for every items here were so exorbitant and you may have to think twice before purchasing anything. We entered Abercrombie & Fitch and hope that we could buy ourselves an outfit cuz this brand is not available in Malaysia, but we ended up empty-handed too. Nevertheless, we grabbed a chance to take photos with the handsome muscular guy who is hired just to take photos with any customers for free. We demanded 3 instax films so that we could have one for each of us. Omg he's so hot!

If you are a Hong Kong drama fans, I'm pretty sure you heard Lan Kwai Fong (兰桂坊) before. We walked up the streets to Lan Kwai Fong and snap a few photos before the sky turns dark. Erm, Lan Kwai Fong is definitely a place where individuals below 18 years old are strictly prohibited. There were full of clubs and bars and it is usually crowded with youngsters partying around late at night. However, Hong Kong appears dark even at 6 o'clock.

On our way to MRT, Huah said we will pass by Philippines. *What a cold joke, you'll wonder why.* And when we walked along the pedestrian bridge, there were a whole bunch of Filipinos sitting by the side. Yeah there were lots of them! She told us they are off duty during Sundays and will gather with their friends at this place for chit-chat. That's why you will feel like you are at Philippines lolol...

After Lan Kwai Fong, we boarded MRT once again to Mong Kok (旺角) to have our dinner since there is a food heaven. Huah recommended us the rice noodles (香港米线）since this is a Hong Kong citizens all-time favourite, so we decided to give it a try. *She never tried this before too.* But we kinda regret to tried this since it does not suit our appetite. We couldn't finished our own portion since it is such a big bowl. We noticed that the HK girls sitting opposite to us ordered other dishes other than their big-portion noodles. Wow, the people here really eat a lot but they remained slim, I wondered how they did that. They really can eat a lot!

This rice noodles were too run-of-the-mill and we wasted a lot and Huah insisted to treat us cuz she felt sorry recommended the wrong choice. But my boy forced himself to finish the whole bowl. *Agh it doesn't matter Huah.* I hate the price here! Even noodles selling by the street can cost HKD24 which is equivalent to around RM12. This kind of price can only be found in shopping mall restaurants if we are in Malaysia. We can have chicken rice by the streets at only RM5 in Malaysia but definitely not in Hong Kong!

Sarcastically, we sacrificed our dinner and tried out for some Hong Kong local specialties. Did you heard about curry fishballs (咖喱鱼蛋) before? They are absolutely tasty and we loved it ♥! Besides, egg puffs (鸡蛋仔) is another must try in Hong Kong! We ate a lot even though our stomach were pouchy enough.

We proceeded to Ladies street (女人街) cuz we wanted to buy some souvenirs. Sadly, we were totally frightened by the people there. The first question when we asked them about the price, they scolded you straight away with no mercy. *Oh god how could I bear with such people.* This happened in every stalls and I had really bad impressions about people in HK. Huah suggested us to leave or it may affect our joyful mood, and we left immediately. She told us she is not used to the people here too during the first day she arrived HK to further her studies. So, this is the reason I started to miss Malaysia. Malaysians are always friendly and polite. Hell yeah, that's Hong Kong.

Feeling frustrated and we headed to Sneakers street (波鞋街). At first I thought the sneakers were displayed on the mat for sale, but instead it is a street aligned with sneakers' outlet of different brands which include Adidas, Nike and New balance. Initially I wanted to buy myself a pair of sneakers but I couldn't find any design that I fond of even though we entered every shops along the street.

We continued roving around Mong Kok in a trio until late at night before we returned. A thousand thanks to Huah that she's willing to spend her precious time to bring us around although she's quite busy. I'll miss u!

After stressful exam, time to play!

After one month of tormenting exam, finally we are free! We've been dying for shopping since we are having the exams. Before going back to our home sweet home, we usually stay back for a few days to enjoy our shopping spree at KL. There'd been many discounts and promotions which make us gone wild. Oh no, we've to control ourselves or we might be overspent, since we both are always acting like a spendthrift!

So as usual we'll head for Starbucks to grab a cup of frappuccino...

Not forgot to mention I'm a Starbucks lover...

Tong Pak Fu at Mid Valley

This is the tiramisu signature cake of Alexis, nice try though =)

The bloody-spill around the cake is the raspberry sauce to be mingled with the cake for better taste.
I was lured by the peanut and hard-crush candies as the topping that make the overall cake delectable with the sponge-like layer below it. And of course, there are chocolate chippings stuffed in between layers too!

We've gained so much during our shopping... Haha stay focus at our shopping bag...

p/s: I'm a huge fans of Topshop. 

Days passed and it's time for us to head back home. It will be a long tedious holiday and I'm awaiting for my coming vacation to Phuket during August. Stay tuned =)
