DSLRs and cameras just emerge like growing mushrooms and it isn't easy to select a camera of your own. It depends on what u demanded and just go for the model that achieved your criteria the most. Afterall, Canon EOS 100D met my requirements, just fit whatever I wanted for, like lock and key!
CANON DELIGHTING YOU ALWAYS
Canon’s DSLR possessed
surprising effects and colour contrasts in every single snapshot that brings
out beautiful and tempting photo qualities. Their photo qualities are
incomparable.
EOS 100D is also called Rebel SL1, is an 18.0-megapixel
digital single-lens reflex camera announced by Canon on 21 January 2013.
I can't give explicit explanations regarding Canon EOS 100D features but I could pick out a few.

EOS 100D is specifically engineered for enthusiast photographers who desired for DSLR image qualities yet the size and weight of DSLR have been put off. Do u know, the one and only surprising thing about EOS 100D is that it's the world's smallest and lightest DSLR available with an APS-C sensor. Sounds amazing right? *beaming widely*
Besides, its pint-size makes it superb for petite hands. It weighs only 407g including the memory card and battery as well which proven it’s much smaller than the other DSLR by around 12%. Yet, these features were adequate to prove that Canon EOS 100D is very suitable for female users. Canon EOS 100D sits just nicely on the palm of your hand!

The front view shows that EOS 100D is apparently smaller than EOS 700D (which is also a newly introduced DSLR).

Nevertheless, the best feature that this EOS 100D possess is undeniably the hybrid CMOS AF system that is designed for amateur photographers who shoot primarily in Live View or who take a lot of videos. Plus, the incredible thing regarding EOS 100D is its ability to preview creative filter effects in Live view mode on screen even before taking any photos! In the meanwhile, there's a noise control settings at low ISO levels, noise is well-controlled even at full resolution. This is the awesome part of EOS 100D♥! *Features searched online*
Needless to say, disadvantage is not a non-entity. The screen that exist cannot be articulated like the traditional DSLRs, which defines that it is not capable of self-shots.
Note that the screen of EOS 100D (left) is fixed and cannot be articulated.
Whereas the screen of EOS 700D (right) can be articulated and is not fixed.

This is how it presents when the screen can be articulated. It is much more convenient and capable of self-captures. But EOS 100D do not offer such feature. ☹
The photo I shot by using Canon EOS 100D, still not contrast enough,
will learn more to shoot prettier photos teehee....
My baby cam, inclusive of the cam tripod, UV filter, screen protector, 16GB class 10 memory card and a cam bag.
I was too lazy to take photo of my tripod, image from Google.
The UV filter fitted in front of the 18-55mm lens, just a lame lens btw haha.

I will blog more about my baby cam after I get familiar with it, currently still a beginner haha. So that's all I think.
